These uniform magnetic beads are pre-activated with high-density epoxy functional groups on the surface, allowing for the conjugation of both large proteins and small peptides. What sets BcMag™ apart is its ability to covalently conjugate amine, sulfhydryl, or hydroxyl group-containing ligands through its active epoxy group, which is linked to the beads via a built-in cleavable disulfide linker. By utilizing reducing agents like DTT or β-mercaptoethanol, you can easily cleave and separate the target molecule-ligand complex from the beads. But that’s not all – BcMag™ also boasts a hydrophilic surface, ensuring low nonspecific adsorption, excellent dispersion, and easy handling in various buffers. Workflow

The beads work perfectly as affinity resin for affinity purification to refine molecules, cells, and parts of cells into purified fractions. After conjugation with ligands, add the beads to a sample containing the target molecules, then mix, incubate, wash and elute the target molecules.
